AMALGAMATED ARTS

The Crime Writers’ Association celebrates its 75th anniversary this June and so has designated it as ‘Crime Reading Month’. Four well-known and very different crime writers (including Michael Heath) – all based in Essex – have got together to contribute to events by staging ‘Beneath the Covers Of Crime’. This panel discussion and talk will explain the basics of writing in the various crime genres, highlighting techniques and methods of approach and illustrating the differing challenges of creating stories in this wide-ranging area of fiction. The events will be staged at various venues throughout Essex during June and will each be followed by a Q&A session where the audience can join the conversation and participate.
